I'm stuck. Throttle cable.

I did the reading.. watched the videos... and am stuck with the throttle cable removal from the throttle body.

I did remove the end of the cable from the spring... it's hanging there... but where my challenge lies is removing the cable... slipping it through that metal piece (sorry to employ technical jargon).

I cannot encourage that plastic piece to slip through. However, I don't want to force it. If it breaks I'm sure it's a $873.67 part with book labor at 4.73229 hours.

I don't have cruise, but this is a photo representative. Not the exact same setup... I've the 1998. Note the arrow. How, I ask? How??

Thus, I'm turning to the expertise of the forum members. In advance, thank you.

Got it. Pressed down on the top 'tab'... popped it through just a hair, then started working on the other one.

Took me 2 minutes when I asked myself how did I manage a 325 restore?

Thank you to all the one who read the post! Cheers.
