Boxster base idle dips every few seconds

Hi,

I just replaced the AOS and the spark plug tubes on my car, and now I'm getting weird idle behavior where it dips every few seconds. Anybody know what's causing this?

I have two guesses:
  • Vacuum leak - Could be a vacuum hose that was inadvertently disconnected or broke during the AOS replacement.
  • Dirty throttle body/intake - Check for oil residue fed into the intake from the AOS tubing.
