993 Turbo owner loved my S

Entered my 2000 S in at a local car show and got chatting to a great asian chap in his late 50s. He and his wife were spending ages looking at my car, after we had been chatting for about 10 mins he got his phone out and showed me some pics of his car that he has owned and used for 17 years.

A Silver 1998 993 Turbo..... I said "MAN how can you like my boxster S the you have that". His reply... "its a Porsche and I like them all" His wife's eyes roll and nod of her head said it all lol.

Had the same thing at another show... chap told me he went to buy a newish boxster in the late nineties but his wife fell in love with a different car in the showroom, bought it, and still own it and use it. 930 Supersport in white. it was at the show too, i even had a sit in and a go on the clutch pedal..... heavy??? errr ye but a stunning car.

I think its great that even the top of the line model owners still have time for Boxster owners....... they again where would Porsche be today without the Boxster.

It’s like the 993 owner said, it’s a Porsche and I like them all. If I could I’d have one of every model.

Thanks it is a nice one despite getting used everyday. Its just getting winter here in the UK so its getting impossible to keep it as clean as I do in the summer months.

I try not too hanker after things that I don't own as it kind of cheapens things that you do own, but that 993t would def be in my garage. Fab colour too.
