Will a 996 bumper fit a Boxster 986?
I have a friend that has a 996 bumper and is telling me I can install it on my 986 Boxster. Is this true?

A 1999-2001 (non-Turbo) bumper cover will fit without any issues. The 2002-2004 cover would require the updated headlights from the 911 as well.

and 996 fenders (if '02 or newer) as I recall...

there's a whole thread in archives from 986er named Jeff (?)... gosh maybe 10 years ago???

I did the upgrade on my 99 when I installed an S center radiator.
