you will be sticking out 2mm more than him; take a look at the rear end shot in his first post - should be ok depending on what tires you run.

lots of variables - camber, ride height, tire width will affect fender clearance. camber, ride height, wheel diameter, suspension (coilover vs strut) will affect inner clearance. we are talking very tight clearances where mm do matter. i've got 275's on 18" on the back of my car and perhaps 5 mm clearance from the inner coilover.
