Who has a daily driver, what year, how's it going?
I drive my 2003 S 22 miles a day and it's a great way to start and end the work day. There are several corners I look forward to coming and going, and every commute is enjoyable. Since I live just outside Houston (work in the city limits) I deal with lots of rednecks driving pickup trucks (am one, have one), but vastly prefer the box over the F150. Oh, and the air horn upgrade is indispensable in traffic. Who else uses their box as a daily driver? How far do you drive?

My family has a 2005 sienna that's main function is to keep miles down on my and my mothers cars. I drive it on days it doesn't make sense to get out the Porsche.
All my buddies in college enjoy hollering out the window of it downtown as much as they do my car lol.

12 miles each way (24 miles a day) in my 2001 Boxster 2.7, 5-speed manual. (Used to be 3 miles each way before company relocated... grrr!)
Great car to commute in, fun to be behind the wheel, but at times getting in/out can be somewhat of a chore, and the clutch actuation can get a bit cumbersome in stop/go traffic (sometimes can happen) and up the hills of downtown Seattle and up and out of the multi-story parking garage. Wish I had more time to wash it, as it also parks outside, and it just looks so great all cleaned up.
So far, I've kept it door ding free (since having paintless dent removal after I picked the car up), but I'm very selective which parking spots I'll use. I commute in it year round! I think in ~2.5 years ownership.

I'm driving my Boxster 120 km/day this summer. I'll drive the Grand Cherokee in the winter.

I don't exclusively drive my Boxster to and from work, but I do so as much as I can and average about 7000 miles per year. The drive is about 60 miles round trip and I am fortunate that I don't have a lot of traffic.
I think driving the car is good for it. It's a 2000 base with about 116,000 miles on it. I bought it in 2006 when it had 30,000 miles on it.
My "other car" during my Boxster ownership has been a 1996 Infiniti G20. Last week I bought a 2005 Mercedes C230 that will eventually replace the G20. I'm going to miss the G20, because I've owned it since it was new. I let my family convince me that I needed to have a car with side impact protection.
I'm putting the car repair and part-hunting skills I've learned on the Boxster to use on the Mercedes.

I run mine an annual 10.000km/6.250miles a year.
I'd say that a third of that is to/from work. I take it on those sunny days. The rest is either weekend trips or some longer trips during summer vacation.
My regular daily driver will do the rainy days plus all of the swedish winter...

As I have kids our 2000S only gets used Monday to Friday on my 2 mile each way home to work then home again run.
Also goes to some local cars show. Total mileage per year is about 3000. Its really is a great way to start and finish the working day and as I can usually park right outside my workplace its nice to look at it when ever I'm passing the window.
My only dislikes are when in winter the windows freeze to the rubbers so can't get in it. Found s solution tho....! Cover it with a car cover when frost on the way.

Mine is a daily driver. I put about 20 miles per day. 52k on her right now and has never given me any trouble what-so-ever. All the plastic bits are starting to go now that she is almost 17 years old.

Mine is not a daily driver, except when our son is home from school without a car or another of our cars is being serviced. I do try to drive it at least once a week, more in the summer. My commute is 60 miles each way, 50 of it on highways - lots of highway speed and some rush hour bumper to bumper sections too. I've got a couple of nice entrance and exit ramps that are nice to take the few times I hit them without any cars in front of me.

I daily mine in the nice months. It's an interesting change from our other two cars. Daily duty isn't where it's best suited, though, as it only really comes alive when driven hard.

Mine isnt a daily its my Friday snd weekend car. Although I could easily drive daily, i enjoy the major change from my other car. I drive it 18 miles to and from work on some nice ooen roads and several fun curves. Only issue is the road has a regular speed trap at random spots.

I've been mostly daily driving it to work but since it lives in the garage and I now have a 3rd car blocking the garage door i just hop in the truck or Wrangler.
I need to sell the Wrangler to fix that problem.
Driving the Boxster S is a joy and I look forward to that drive, however I'm finding the world of drivers out there move much too slowly for me so its a treat when I find some open road and the radar detector is showing all clear.
I think a regular dose of Auto-X every so often helps satisfy the need for turn and burn. Its been far too long. I need to get to the track soon.

I just bought my 2001 S and have started driving it every day. My commute to work is 17 miles each way. I also plan to drive it in the snow. I have a hard top and will be getting a separate set of wheels/snow tires. I just have to decide which combo I will go with. We get a huge amount of snow up here in Central New York, but that is not stopping me. I've driven many cars in heavy snow and its all about the right tires and right technique.

My 2000S now with 29.5k miles is a daily driver from April through October. I bought it in 2014 with 10.5 miles and have been putting 5 - 6000 miles on per year.
About once a week I drive my winter car, a 2004 Volvo XC with 245k miles which gets about 6000 miles per year now. Both are great cars at what I need or want them for.
