Somebody on here got a 996TT for $29K I think, I can't think of the name, and Trendy996 has one too I think. I got a ride in one at the track by someone that really knew how to drive, holy $%^&*

Did the TT 'passenger' ride also, and can't remember anything of the ride. Man did I survive a lot of things in this lifetime....

Same value - Air cooled 911 race car (I'd probably even have some cash left over from the Boxster sale for a truck and trailer)...

I actually was strongly considering buying a Mk1 Audi TT Quattro with the baseball glove leather. If I got it, one of the Boxsters was probably going to have to go. I waited so long considering the options that it was already sold when I finally inquired about it.
Then I got in my Arctic Silver/Red leather '99 that I had considered parting with (the Tiptronic one) and had no regrets.
I may have to end up with 6 Roadsters if I find the right TT.

Something within its price range? Nah. But in about 4 years, my plan is to swap it plus a new loan for a 997 or a Shelby gt 350.

I looked long and hard for a fun second car under 20k. The 986 S was the clear choice to me.

....but if it had to be another car, then it's money towards an anthracite colored MK4 Supra(twin turbo of course).

Exactly....
The correct answer for the number of cars to have is always, n + 1....
For me, my next car that will sit next to the Boxster will be an F348ts, and then maybe another Corvette. Who knows.

I would go for a Nissan Skyline R33 since prices are good since 25 years not up now.

Mid-80's Ferrari 308GT or an early Dino. When I went to buy my first car while in high school, I went to the Fiat/Ferrari dealership in Miami and fell in love with the Dino. Unfortunately, all I could afford was a 1973 Fiat 850 Sports Spyder. Funny thing, looking at that Fiat on eBay, they go for more what I paid new; $2736 out of the show room!

My sons have been after me to get a new Corvette.
What is the comparison like between the Boxster and the Corvette other than pure power? The Vette seems so much bigger and heavier.

...it could ONLY be for another PORSCHE Boxster/Cayman/911.
PORSCHE Panamera (maybe Macan, not so much Cayenne) could ONLY be additions to my PORSCHE fleet

I had a C6 for a while. The Corvette gives so much more torque and power than the Boxster. That being said, the Boxster handles so much better.
Corvette is coming out with a mid engined version soon, and that may really tip the scales...
Also, from an affordability standpoint, the Corvette is much easier on the wallet....
Different cars...I like them both....for different reasons. LOL.

Absolutely nothing in the Boxsters current price range. I had thought of selling it and getting an older 911. I am rethinking that now. The 997.2 cabs are why down in price and a great car. But, it would take a lot more cash to jump from the Boxster to that so I think I'll keep it for another 16 years.
