Well I ruined my door :(

Well I went for a hike this evening and was really enjoying the weather. Got back off the trail and went to get in my Boxster. I got in and went to close the door and it bounced open. It didn't even close most of the way. I opened it back up wondering what caused it but I didn't see anything. Anyway, I get home and immediately when I closed the door I noticed the damage. Its very noticeable and I wasn't even looking for anything, just admiring my beautiful Porsche. I'm so mad at myself and can't stop thinking that I messed it up. Not only that, but what a stupid way for me to ruin part of my car! I don't slam the door either and I'm surprised by the damage. It looks like it cracked the paint and that means it'll need to be painted to be fixed. Whats the risk of leaving it like this for a little? How much would it cost to have repainted(I know this varies greatly but if you guys have any experiences I'd really appreciate it)? While I'm at it, can anybody recommend a good body/paint shop in Northern Virginia?

I guess there is a lot of leverage and looks like something was in the crack. Maybe a paintkess dent repair could fix it? Dang and good luck!

I believe if it's cracked then it needs to be painted. Maybe pdr could fix it for a little while but I'm not sure. Maybe someone can chime in that has experienced something similar. Don't really want to have it painted though and if I do hopefully it's not too expensive. Thanks for the good luck!
