I was so angry I took an axe to my car today...

....to remove the driveshaft axle. That sucker did not want to come out! Taped some wood to it, sprayed with PB Blaster, and hammered away. Regular hammer had no effect.

Grease everything well when you put it back together. Including the splines and the threads. Then next time, and hopefully there will not be a next time, that you go back in there it will come apart very easily.

keep the axe (splitting maul) handy; you will probably need it to get the cv off.
