I am not fond of kids...31 and still don't have any. I like to be reminded why every now and then.

I am 35 and like children a little less than an infectious disease. When I think of all the costs involved of raising them, and all the Porsches I could buy with that money, the choice is easy.
Besides, my girlfriend is 15 years younger than me so it is almost the same as having children.

Cartagena, too bad your parents didn't feel the same way.
PS - do you know the difference between a Porsche and a porcupine?

Yeah, on a porcupine, the pricks are on the OUTSIDE.
I never liked that joke, even before I owned a Porsche. Some of the nicest people I have ever met own Porsches, present company included!

Good point, Randall. While my opinion of children may differ from Cartegena's, it doesn't give me the right to post what amounted to a personal attack for his opinion. My apologies to Cartagena, and others, who may have been offended.
Mine was one of those posts which would have been better left unsent.

No biggie... I was wondering when that old joke would surface here.
While my wife and I decided not to have kids 20+ years ago before we married, I'm a big fan of children, especially children whose parents love them enough long-term to raise them, discipline them, and spend lots of time together learning and laughing.
But the millions of parents who don't raise their children and participate in shaping their morals and behavior are another story completely!
