Correct, and Porsche went back to the rivets in 2005. 03/04 with no rivets is a bad idea. I put caulking under my 03/04 tail to keep the cover on. Still there after a year and several 100mph+ testing

Will an 2002 or earlier spoiler trim fit on 2003 model????

And yes I also lost my spoiler going over 100MPH with top down the force was so bad spoiler trim flew away but the 4 clips stay behind inside the gap from the trunk.
So if anyone can help to find a black trim one.
Is the duck lip good looking I mean does it look better than OEM for those who did the mod?
Will 02 and earlier models fit on 03/04 models?

Bumping an old thread. went to open my trunk and found the spoiler cap loose. Three of the 4 clips had failed. Age I suppose. Any suggestions for the caulk? Any long term considerations for using caulk? Like, will it be impossible to remove later? Or, does it impede access to anything else I might want to get to later?

New unpainted ones appear to run $150 to $180. If some silicon caulk does the trick might stick it back on - at least for a bit.

So they ran out of clips at your local dealer?

Caulk? It's not a Honda, Bruh.

Pay a visit to autozone... oreilly... they may have clips that will suit your need. Stay out of the caulk aisle.
