2000 Boxster S oil filter

Don't want to pay 30 again at dealership. What's a decent brand at autozone or napa?
Thanks for the help.

Wix/NAPA Gold is both inexpensive and very good.

The WIX I got is # 57211. Will that work for my car? Its what the guy sold me but I think it is small compared to what I replaced in the past. Maybe I am wrong.

Thanks everyone. The dealership wanted $44 including washer so I still saved some money. I'll take care of this AM and be good for the season.

I like Napa gold because it has plastic ends and I finally don't have to order something online

I think that may answer my question. The wix filter has plastic ends and the Mahle is all cardboard (paper). The mahl is a flat flush piece and the wix a flat plastic disk with a smaller center plastic disk. Is that ok?

I always use Napa filter, and have no complaints so far regarding its quality and performance.
