Security Key dashboard (center panel) Light Question

Being a new owner of a 2002 986, I noticed last night while driving that the red central locking system indicator light momentarily lit a few times during the first 10 minutes of driving. After that, it didn't happen again. Is this normal or something I need to look into further?
