It shouldn't go dead in a week. My car has sat for 2 months and still started.

My guess (and it's just a guess) is that your battery is defective (if only 2 years old). It should still be under warranty. If it were me, I'd replace the battery before going crazy trying to trace down weird power drains.

You definitely should not have to hook up a battery conditioner if it's only sitting for a week.
