I had a brand new '07 Cayman S that did the same thing. (back in 2008)
I took it to the dealer and they told me my pressure gauge was wrong and the "car was right".
After waiting a few seconds for him to start laughing (he didn't) I told him that was ridiculous.
He offered to replace the sensors at my expense and I declined.

The only way I could reset the system was to overinflate all 4 tires to 5+ lbs over recommended and drop them back down to the correct pressure.

It happened a total of 3-4 times in the 4 years I had the car.
The ONLY annoying thing I can remember about my time with it.

Good luck.
