Ah, well...
Nothing left to fix on the '01. I get bored easily.
The '04 seems actually pretty solid, just looks like shyte at the moment. It's got 1/3 less mileage, it's 3 years newer, it is NOT a tiptronic!
The tip was fine but I was getting tired of watching the other 986s pull away from me on the straights!
This one needs some TLC, some tires, 2 roof transmission gears (anyone priced these things??
), an ims upgrade, a detailing job, an alignment, a power steering reservoir, and a desperate need of some fresh oil! Fortunately, I do all of this myself (any Montreal friends looking to get their hands dirty?).
I salvaged some track stuff from my other car: roll bar, oil sump baffle, etc.
It probably sounds worse than it is ( I hope...)
