Boxster S center body coolant pipe differences?

During my research, I came across a few threads that discussed the differences between the regular Boxster and S model's coolant pipe sizes. I understand/read that the front hoses that attach to the radiators are of different diameters.

However, I wasn't able to verify/confirm if the center hard lines that run the length of the body were also of a larger/different size on the S models as well?

As an aside question, does anyone know the diameter differences between the S and non-S models as well?

The main lines are mostly the same, aside on one which fits the 2.5/2.7 cars, and the other that fits 3.2/Tiptronic.

Best way to find out is to download the 986 PET from Porsche. It's free, and highlights all of the part differences between models. M008/M460 is 3.2 manual, M009/M461 is 2.5/2.7 manual, M249 is Tiptronic.

The 2000-04 S and the 2003/04 with a tiptronic come with larger coolant tubes. I don't know the diameter off the top of my head but i'd guess the S lines flow 50% more than the base tubes.

Larger throughout the whole system? So the hard pipes in the center of the car are also larger as well?

From the radiator and all the way back to the last set of rubber hoses. It's a popular upgrade for guys who race spec boxsters to use the larger coolant lines. It's not really necessary but it doesn't hurt either.

I do think it help with cooling off tiptronic boxsters better though. I get a lot of request for 97-02 tiptronic transmissions but I don't really get request from people with 03/04 titronics. I'm thinking Porsche noticed a problem with the early tiptronic cars and decided to add larger tubes for the 03/04. Not that 03/04 boxsters are better though as I've been swamped with calls for 03-05.5 motors lately.
