Intermittent headlight malfunction

Hi all,

In the last week I've had two occasions when the headlights (low beams) failed to come on. The first time, they did come on by themselves after a few seconds. The second time, they came on after a few minutes of driving.

All the other light functions are working. Parking lights, high beams, turn signals all ok.

I assume that because they did eventually come on, it is not a fuse issue? So is this the switch going out?
