Or, you can have a muffler shop fabricate a PSE with 2 pipes, and it won't drone either (for much less money than a new exhaust).

It is way too quiet for me. That is why, unless someone nearby would like to trade.

What is way too quiet for you? Which exhaust do you have? What model year is yours?

I have an 02 S with the PSE. I hear more out of the intake vent than I do from the exhaust. I would also like to hear more "burble" at idle.

Maybe you can have your valves clamped to stay in the bypass position at all times, and also install cat bypass pipes? I have listened to a fellow Boxster owner's PSE with cat bypass pipes, and it sounded pretty good.

I was thinking that same thing, they had a pair of bypass pipes on Ebay for $200, then they went up to $1200. WTF? Anyway, I may see about having a local exhaust shop make some up.
