That's a nice looking Boxster. Those look like SSR GT3 wheels. If you are getting rid of the spoiler and wheels, may I ask how much? If you are near VA, I may be able to provide you a set of 17" twists.

Thanks Chuck , Look forward to hearing from you on this hope you can make out the details |
Congrats on the purchase! Like Alex, I may be interested in the wheels. I'm hopefully about to close on a Boxster S that has stock turbo twists, so if you wanted to do a trade we should chat.

Welcome and congratulations!
Its a great looking car but maybe the previous owner might have been trying a little too hard. The wheels, the speedster humps, the upgraded lights, the wing... (a lot of bolt on upgrades). I hope that the PO spent as much time and money maintaining and upgrading that parts that can't be seen. |
You can download the options list here to decipher the option codes: PorscheOptionCodes.pdf
Here is how to read the label: http://i1114.photobucket.com/albums/...ctoryCodes.jpg |
Looks like a nicely optioned Boxster. Post some photos of the interior.

There are a lot of really nice Porsche rims out there, lots to choose from, which is good, as I agree with you, not liking those rims. Keep an eye on eBay, or check with itsnotanova, he might have some originals kicking around. He's our resident parts guy.

I am not well versed enough to tell if that is the spoiler from the factory Aerokit. That was a pricey option (XAA) that came with the front and rear spoiler and Rocker Panel covers .. $6,225! Either Woody or qualityporscheparts will be able to get you some correct wheels. Then sell the ones that came with the car to recoup some of you money. Snow... Snow... I cannot imagine. I have never driven the Boxster in the rain much less be benched for months due to snow. Enjoy the Boxster and keep us posted on your progress. |
