We need a "Fred" survival package

This is not a slam first and foremost.

Most of us are long term Boxster owners, I like many others have the great Projector kit sold by Fred, well I had a headlight go out. I took the fixture out and found that the balast is getting voltage but not igniting the bulb or envelope. So this end it could be either, what we need is a backup plan line a kit with an extra bulb and ballast in the event that something goes out......everything electronic does eventually. So what I am asking is we need a source for extra parts.......and the magic word is "Please"

Thanks
Dwight

These are they, though you do need to trim the bulbs base down a bit to fit into Fred's custom post. Not at all difficult.

Bulbs...H1 35 watt.

I currently have the H1 55w 10000K kit installed in my car... I don't find the 35w are worth it compared to the 55w. I buy all mine directly from China on the Aliexpress website... very cheap and free shipping but the downside is that it can take a long time for shipping. Buy two kits and you should be good for a long time.

Hi Charles,
Just a quick question, are these items replaceable through the back of the assembly or does the entire headlamp assembly need to be taken apart? I was lucky enough to have you originally assemble my projectors, so I have no knowledge on how they went together.
Thanks
Don
