Just bought a 2000 S

After weeks of looking all over Texas I finally purchased a 2000 Boxster S from the origional owner. It is Lapas Blue/Tan interior with 18" turbo wheels. What an AWSOME ride. I went from a Miata to the Boxster. I still will regard the Miata as one of the best sports cars of all time, but the Boxster is like a Miata on Steriods with an attitude. The only thing about the Boxster that has been a disappointment is that the rear plastic window cracked the second time I lowered it. The Porsche dealer told me I will have to have the whole top replaced. Does anyone reading this thread have knowledge of top removal, as I will take it off myself and have a new window sewn in at a buddies canvas shop. Regards.

Congrats on the Lapis - great color choice (but I'm biased)! Enjoy the car. Jeff (Tool Pants) has replied in your other thread about the top removal - good luck with that.
