What's this handle below the steering wheel?

The handle converts the steering wheel into a yoke... once your up to maximum speed pull back on the yoke and the nose of the car will pitch up. I must say, its a lot of fun.... wait a second, am I getting my Boxster S mixed up with my Cessna 172 ummmm
