The first time our daughter asked for the keys, I remember thinking WTH,you can't do your homework or keep your room clean and you want to drive the car?

I taught my daughter to drive a stick shift on the Boxster. She's 20 now and will be graduating with a Bachelors in Nursing in April. She currently drives a stick shift Mini Cooper. Time goes by fast so enjoy the now.

I'm still trying to get my 54 YO nurse wife to drive the manual Box. Learn on the Honda, I say, then try the Box. She is content to be the passenger, which is OK as I am very content to be the driver.
But you are right, enjoy these times while you have them.
