The side air vents are removed by unscrewing the two screws on the outside edge of the the vent assembly and one hidden screw in the front;
passenger side hidden screw is behind the small circle.
Drivers side hidden screw is behind light switch (search on light switch removal).
After removing screws, pull the entire vent assembly toward you, being careful not to mark the easily scratched interior finish.
All screws are torx screws...can't remember the size, 15 or 20 I think.
