Finally found a center wind deflector for my 2001 Boxster S. Now just need two more pieces and the Boxster is complete.

I have one of those wind deflectors but it seems to rattle a little and been thinking about removing it... does it really make a difference?? I never driven the car without it so I am not sure what the difference will be...

Your mounting tabs on the rollbar are more than likely broken. Pelican or ECS sells them for cheap. They're usually riveted to the roll bar

Yeah, and the little clip that is on them has been revised at some point by Porsche, mine used to rattle around and new clips resolved it for me and were easy to install. Was only a few $.

Thanks... I'll need to replace those clips as one of them rattles like a MOFO. I almost put crazy glue on it to stop! haha

Count me as a believer. My car didn't come with them. I nervously paid $460 for the set. IMHO it is night and day for the better.

Just an update. Got the center deflector in today, sadly, one of the clips was indeed broken. Had to order a set so, getting really close to brand new cost at this point.

you'll have to send a pic when its on. When I got my car the defector was in the boot, I tried to fit it then noticed one of the clips on the roll bar was broken (probably why it was in the boot)

I got one from a breaker for £5. drilled out the rivet and riveted in the new one, being very careful. Took about 5 mins.

Im not sure how well the deflectors work but they sure look good. More so when you can read the Porsche lettering through the rear window when the hood is up.

eeeeee...... its the simple things in life that bring the most joy lol

I use mine in the late fall through the winter here in NW Florida. It really makes a difference on wind hitting the back of your neck. IMHO, you can enjoy your car at least 10 degrees cooler that without.
