Basic steps for removing the top to access the engine?

Sorry but do not know how to open the top to have access to the engine (mine is a CS hard top), and tomorrow I will be checking a beautiful '04 base, burgundy/Savannah beige combination with about 60k from a neighbor that I met a couple of days ago and was very happy with the car.

Unfortunately today got a text from him saying that the car was leaking oil between the bell housing and the Tiptronic and also mentioned that the transmission didn't have any oil in it,

How can I check the fluid level on the Tiptronic? I told him not to jump into any conclusions before checking the car out, hopefully is nothing serious, something like an AOS or one of its hoses, etc.

Thank you in advance!
