Part time

Spends 80% of its life in a climate controlled garage being babied , the 20 percent time it is driven it is driven spiritedly. My 986 gets driven usually two outings a week . I have a E36 for a daily driver and my wife's Altima SR is the perfect do it all car for everything else....also a Honda CRV in the mix as well as a Ford Explorer and a work in progress is a restoration on a 1978 FJ40 that I bought new and am the single owner....but it is a ways off from being drive-able.

Mine was a garage queen, a couple thousand miles a year. Don't drive it in the rain and up here in Seattle means I only drive it a few months a year. Top goes down in July and stays down into Sept. Then back on the battery tender and in storage.

I have respect for you guys who drive their boxster full time. I'd imagine I would have a million speeding tickets if my DD was a Porsche.

Our DD is SAAB Aero convertible, Boxster used for club social runs 2000kms since purchase 3 months ago.

SAAB v6 Aero is as quick in a straight line as the Boxster but would be left In the dust on a narrow winding road. Boxster is 2003 2.7 tiptronic.
