Can't close top

Had new top installed in March..was up most of the time until yesterday, when I left it down most of the day. Now, it closes to within an inch but can't force it close enough to latch it..Needed a little bit of stretching force prior to get the latch to close. Tried disenaging the tension cables but no difference. Any ideas? May take it back to the upholstery shop that installed to see what they can do...

if i can remember someone told me that it can happen that something under the raising panel can come loose but can't remember which part, check if something stops the roof to raise fully it might be nothing and can be fixed easily

thanks olly,

but it seems that the 88 degree weather today, softened the top enough to close..I guess the new top just needs to be stretched out some.....
