Are you talking about the ones on the rear quarter panels, behind the doors?
You do not want an intake scoop on the right (passenger side)... that is not an intake. That's an exhaust. A scoop would interfere.

Hi guys, got my car back last night and managed to do the final trim and test fit on the first production ducktail. I am going to start making parts today, tomorrow and resume Saturday.
I am taking Friday off and going for a drive, seems to have become an annual thing. I turn 66 Friday and this is my present to myself to get out and enjoy the car and our beautiful scenery for a day. Last year I did 2100KM (1300 miles) in twenty five hours.
There are 9 on the group buy list and I will leave it up to you guys to decide if it should stay open and try and hit the 11 mark to drop the price. I will end it Monday August 1st at the latest as I will be ready to receive payments and start shipping.
Pictures of the completed piece.

The one on the right side pulls cooler outside air into the engine compartment to cool it. If you hold your hand over it when the fan is running, you may feel a little air so it feels like it is expelling air but I think it is some sort of backwash. If you put a sheet of paper over the inlet it sucks the paper to the car.

I don't even like ducktails but I sure like the small one, and I definitely am.interested in the side scoops. I agree with the green line comment above, if it followed that curve I think it would look even better.

The smaller one is very nice, if you can do the more contoured as to follow the green line previously mentioned I think it would be perfect, do you have a price set yet?

As is, or with the "green line" contour.

Hi guys, here are some more pictures of the duck tail. Spent the last two days reshaping and massaging the whole thing. I very happy with the shape now and I hope you will be also.
Let me know your thoughts.
I hope to start the mold this Friday and barring a lot of orders for my other stuff coming in should be ready to start making parts by the middle of next week.
I'd like to introduce this thing with a group buy. Pricing will be on an ascending discount percentage based on the number of people wanting the duck tail.

I like this a lot. Please let me know of the group buy pricing.
Also, does this fit on the existing fin structure, or a new piece?
And, is it able to be removed with no damage to the original?
Thanks!

Hi guys, time to start a GROUP BUY list and leave it open for two weeks.
The mold has been started and should be complete next week.
The list price for the ducktail will be $450.00 and the discounts are as follows based on the number of people signed up.
1-10 10%
11-15 15%
16-29 20%
30 and over 25%
I have looked at shipping costs and will come in around the 20 dollars range. I am in western Canada, Vancouver. Shipping across the continent to Miami worked out a bit over 22 dollars. I do ship overseas and will get rates if needed.
The list will remain open until Friday night July 22nd at which time we'll all find out for how much I am selling the ducktail.
I trust we will not end up with a list of 30 plus people and in the end 5 people actually end up buying the part. I ask you follow through with the purchase if you put your name on the list.
In case your wondering about me and can I do this please look at my Facebook page "Joe Toth Composites" or google my name and you will find lots threads in other forums of work I have done and many satisfied customers.
Lets get a list started and see where it goes.
