Hello everyone. New to the forum and new to Boxster, my seventh P-car since 1993. I am an old retired guy who likes to fool around designing and making composite aero parts. Keeps me occupied and out of trouble. Sold my 987.2 Cayman S two weeks ago after I had designed and made all the aero bits I had wanted so decided it was time to play with a Boxster for a while. An acquaintance of mine wants some help with front aero on his Boxster so I'm going to try and come up with something to help.
Going to try and dress up the Boxster with some new parts. I will post pictures as progress on my car proceeds.

Hello Joe,

Do you have some pics of the aero pieces you did for the Cayman? And how about some pics of your new Boxter?

Thank you!

Finally managed to get some work done on the Boxster front aero. The pattern for the splitter and dive planes is more or less complete. I am going to test fit on a couple more cars to verify my bumper is not out of spec (ie: bent, warped etc) then I start making the mold. I put some white paper in front of the splitter in an attempt for better contrast against the pavement and to show ground clearance for stock ride height.

Are the black additions eventually be the color of the car?

Not sure, I might try in white and see if it gets better more subtle blending in or go black and white. By the time I put the side skirts, intake scoops and rear diffuser it may look ok in high contrast.
