On topic though, the boxster keeps me drinking healthy as the door pockets fit a bottle perfectly. So I tend to have a green tea or a waterbottle in the for pocket at all times, never really needed a cup holder.

I just take a water bottle and fit it between the passenger seat slide adjustment handle and the seat. Fits perfectly, is convenient to reach and is not in the way. I have not had a bottle move from there.
