987 service manual

Does anyone know where I can get a 987 service manual? I can only find 986 manuals when I google.

Nowhere on this planet. Porsche has gone to an "on-line" subscription only service and no longer print them, or make them available on CD. On-line subscription is by topic (volume), time limited, and is very pricey as well......................

If you're talking about a Bentley manual, amazon.com has them

The Bentley manual for the 987 isn't out yet... hell, I think the 986 one just came out recently.

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.

Nooo.. they probably gave you the little "tech manual" that's less than 100 spiral-bound pages.

The service manuals for the boxster cost a considerable amount of money. If they gave you them for free.... you are gooooooooooood.

The Bentley manual for the 986's just came out in Dec 2005. Don't look for a 987 anytime soon.

The subscription ones will run you...a lot. But you can pick and choose what parts to buy (I think).
