New member from Maryland

I had been looking for a while and a few weeks ago I drove to New Jersey and fell in love with what was to be my '03 Boxster S.
Artic Silver on black, 18" Carrera wheels (drop dead gorgeous), 6 speed, 14Kmiles, Porsche certified, new Pirelli P zero Rossos, new clutch. I am closing in on 15K miles and all I can say is... There is not substitute... What a marvelous car.
And that exhaust note, oh the exhaust note...

I'm a regular at audiworld.com (have two AUDIs) and it seems 986forum is just what I need to exchange info and engage in general discussions about our little monsters.

Glad to join you guys!

A new clutch after only 15K? Sounds like it was driven kind of hard...but I'm the skeptical type so...

Wishing you the best of luck! Sounds like you're going to have fun!

Yes, just what I thought. Either driven hard or driven by someone that did not know how to drive a stick. They told me it was the second. My indy tech tells me that the tranny should be fine even if the clutch has been replaced. It also feels perfect when driving so I was not too concerned. Especially given that it was certified by Porsche. Plus I got a new clutch! So far so good.

As for fun, you are right on. This thing is simply perfect.
