Led day running lights

I see you've posted several different questions regarding DRL's.
I took a slightly different approach to DRL's.

I replaced my parking light bulbs with LED bulbs and use the parking lights as DRL's. The parking lights are inside the headlight housing and are easy to pop out and change, with no wiring required. The parking lights are several inches higher than the radiator vent grills where most owners are mounting their DRL's, which I hope makes them more visible. The LED bulbs are much brighter than the original 5watt bulbs.

I do have to remember to turn on the parking lights when I start the car, but that has become just part of my starting procedure sorta like putting on my seatbelt and releasing the parking brake.
