Seat stuck

Several weeks ago, my very short (4'10.5") wife drove my Box. She raised the seat and moved it all the way forward. The seat has power up and down, tilt and manual forward/aft. My problem is the seat is stuck in the raised position. When I look under the seat, I can see the mechanism at the front of the piston operate (wire pulls a "trigger" back and forth), but nothing happens. Any thoughts besides never letting her drive it again?

Mine requires my body weight to make it drop back down. I can barely push it down.

Also, head rest hitting the roll bar? Can't recline until it's down.

Garage
On my car in order to push the seat back down I have to push the button down at the same time I push the seat down and back with my butt. I actually have to push backwards on the steering wheel while I do this.

This. You have to really push it down with the lever pulled.

Thanks. Pushing back on the seat worked and I am no longer sitting in a booster seat when I am driving.
