Wait a minute. I think we have a forum member here who indicated that he added the S badge to a 2.7 but didn't add a reason for it. Maybe this is his car.

People do it all the time to the cars like mustangs that are v6 that try to look like the v8. It's not always done for the sake of a scam. I mean heck my car is an S but has no back badge at all. People just do what they personally find looks best like maybe making calipers on a base red. It becomes a problem when they post an ad not disclosing everything.

Last 5 of the serial number say it a non S, 22224. S models start at 40061
