Good ol' AAA works fine for me.

Also, I worry what they might do with the vehicle data that is recorded from the OBDII port. Some of that data is sure to make its way back into the Verizon cloud.

Remember the driver who left the scene of an accident and the car itself reported to the police that the car had been in an accident? If you missed it, its worth a read:

I dont see it

How can this be much better than a Bluetooth or WiFi ELM unit and one of the apps like Torque or Dash command ?

At 15 bucks per month ??????
