Another Boxster conversion...918

I talked to a guy who was selling his 986 based Carrera GT kit car a few years back.
He was taking a big hit - cost way more to build than the value. It looked ok from 20 feet away - but, he said it was fun to build but embarrassing to drive! He even avoided Porsche events because they all new it was a kit. He hoped to sell it to buy a Boxster or 911. It was for sale for a looong time - not sure what happened to it!

That's because he was on the wrong side of the pond. Not posh enough!! Ditto for SoCal.

Here in 'Murica everyone with a mullet and tank top would buy him a drink and ask for rides with their first cousin wife.
