Ok, not to 'dis' BMW, as I have owned and enjoyed a 99 Z3 (2.3), 2 99 M Roadsters, a Z4 (3.0) and 2 E46 series cars.

but...

I don't get it right now. I can't differentiate between 1, 2, 3, and 4 series cars. I'm not saying I don't like them but they appear more similar than different. If I went to the dealer right now, I'd have no idea what to look at.

Zactly. I've been wondering what's up with that company for years now. The 3 gets too big, so they create the 1. Then they kill the 1 and bring out the 2 and 4. They must sell 75 or more variants of cars, let alone the SUV stuff.

Personally, I like their older iron. Shark nose M5. The old M6. The 850. The 2002 tii ...
