Yes. Funny how much Bentley leaves out. I am hoping this will be the worst part of the water pump replacement. Hopefully the hose comes off willingly from the wp. I got the clamp to loosen and spin. I still don't have the wp so I am leaving in place for now. All the hoses are in great shape which makes me wonder if the water pump has been replaced.

Very rare to need to replace a hose. Boxster hoses seem to be made of some miracle rubber that never ages (maybe that's where they use the unicorn tears?). The original hoses in my 1997 are still in great working order.

Too bad Porsche couldn't have instilled that same level of quality everywhere else in the car - like the water pump or AOS.
