Very nice look. I'd do that in a second. Tombstone spoiler really could use a facelift.

GORGEOUS! This is the best-looking spoiler I've ever seen for a 986. Nice work!

When your friends refer to "the thing behind your car" when they follow you, you know they mean the spoiler lollll.
Now "Tombstone" got to be the fumiest I've heard so far

Guvs 03-30-2016 12:55 AM

Hi Derfo.
How come we haven't see this spoiler in the UK Boxster forum ? I'm sure there would be a market for that here, also sure you would of got a lot of interest as others on the forum (BoXa.net) like the cayman style spoiler, or even my Sports Edition spoiler.

Far better than the air brake type.
Guvs.

Hello everyone,
I have been quite ill for a few months after coming of meds that I have been on for years, the withdrawel has been very severe and prolonged.
I have had everything ready to make the mould for a while but just not been up to doing it. However I am a lot better now and intend to get on with it in the few weeks. I will post again when I start it.

Froggo you can't just post and run :D . What are the specifics on your spoiler ? Homemade or purchased over the counter ? Not sure I like the visible screw heads but that could be overcome. Other than that I like it. Details man details !!!

Froggo 06-18-2016 06:09 PM

Yes , I made it in the home workshop . It's fiberglass over a MDF wood base . The fixings are polished SS screws into captive nuts in the top bar of the original spoiler which still goes up and down . I don't think it has any aerodynamic qualities at the speeds I travel at but it makes the tail a bit more interesting .

Hi guys, I came across this thread when posting my the thread of the aero kit I'm in the process of doing for my car. One of the pieces happens to be a duck tail and I would like to get some feedback as to what I am working on. It seems I really like McDonald's as I tend to "supersize " everything. The pictures are of my pattern for the mold. Please ignore the finish as there is still work to be done there but it's the size and shape I would like to get the input. I wasn't going to go crazy and put a mold ready finish on this thing if I was going to go back and cut and reshape.

Thank you in advance for the input,
