Well to be fair the main appeal of the 911 I hear from owners isn't the larger power figure, they actually prefer the greater challenge that rear engine provides.

They treat rear engine vs mid like automatic vs manual.

Could it be that driving a super balanced, slightly under powered, great handling boxster is actually taking the easy way
Versus
Driving an over steering, higher HP 911 that wants to kill you on each turn unless you super pay attention.
