Has no amp connection without spending more.

if you really need to have an amp, you can drive them from speaker outputs

I have the basic system and I added the rear speakers so I have dash and rear speakers. No amp installed or needed, or really wanted.
I do however want bluetooth and USB, so the Continental radio could be a really good solution for features and look

In a 2004 it won't really matter. In my 02 it has a factory amp. It would be a pain to wire it up. Plus, i only spent a little more and got a lot more radio.

Yes, this one looks really good!
Can it just be swapped with the stock HU if we have a MOST system with an amp in the frunk? Or this needs a harness?

The MOST amp would need to be replaced, or you can get a really expensive normal to MOST converter
Much cheaper to just replace the amp

If cost is a consideration, an Android tablet is a great alternative. My Nexus 7 does all the things the head units do, including extra storage via USB, and obd II. You can get them for less than $100 online. Added the Kenwood Bluetooth unit for $100, and a wiring harness from Amazon for $15, and was able to use the factory amp, and all 6 speakers. with no issues.

The factory amp (and CD) on a 02 or newer is MOST, not MOSFET

MOST is an optical bus and IIRC is an orange jacketed fibre optic cable
MOSFET is a type of semiconductor (transistor)
