Just bought a 2001 Boxster S

Greetings! I am the proud of owner of a very nice 2001 Porsche Boxster S. I had been looking for several months gathering info etc. When I had a few in mind I put my 1983 Alfa Romeo Spider up for sale and sold it in 12 hours . I found an S model with 67K on it with a sparse maintenance history but visited several Porsche shops in my area and found that maintenance was performed just not recorded. Everything absolutely works correct and has new tires. Only issue I have is the front bumper cover has a crack underneath and I'll be getting that fixed pretty soon. I have always had a 2 seater in the garage. Hope to gather useful info in this forum and provide any I can.

Very nice. It appears to have some nice (& expensive) options; Rain Forest Green Metallic paint $805, Litronic Headlights $1,070, and Leather Interior $2,920 to $3,950 depending on which one was ordered. Post some interior photos! There is a tag under the front hood that has all of the option codes listed.

Welcome and great first post.

Interior pics. just took a few.

Be taking my front bumper cover off real soon. Noticed a lot of debris in both sides.

Looks to be in great shape, inside and out for a nearly 15 year old car. Congratulations.

Welcome. Great color combo. The tan interior is really sharp.

She looks great congrats! Love the metallic colors, they shine up so nice and look great when they are sparkling in the sunlight.

I really like the Rain Forest Green & Savannah combination. Very classy.
Much richer looking than the typical Arctic Silver.
Get out and drive that thing!

Beautiful car. I am a recent 2001 S model owner as well.

I really love that color combo as I had the same on my 91 Alfa.

You've got the Packers color package! Congrats. I also have a Rainforest Green 01S, but with the gray interior. I've had it since May 2012 and have racked up 23K miles in Summer-only driving. You will love exploring the twisties in AZ.

Here's mine driving Tail of the Dragon this past July.

Welcome to Boxsterdom and the forum!

Thanks for the welcome from everyone. There's a nice winding road down here in Southern AZ I'll be driving real soon. Hope to get some video.
Oh! I didn't show it in the pictures but the top is almost in new condition with a clear rear window! It is Black. I'm thinking a Tan one would look better. Don't put it up very often.

Same paint color as my 2001 base with gray interior. My bumper was messed up too and I replaced it with an S bumper just for the looks. My gray top should be replaced and I have a seal gray hardtop which I'm so far not painting as it looks great as is. Getting my winter tires on this weekend.

Hmm maybe that's why I've never been a fan of green cars. And I guess that means my boxster is bears blue. Go bears!
