Back at all of you, my 986 friends.

I'm stuck in Jax Florida because dad had a massive stroke and is still not responsive.

Not looking good. Got here at 12:30 AM. It's been a long, terrible day of hoping and praying.

Hope the best for all on the board. I appreciate your friendships.

Tim

Tim, I am very sorry to hear that! I will be praying for your father! My sisters boyfriend suffered a pretty bad stroke a few years ago and he beat the odds.

It's simple really. I wouldn't own my car if I had to pay to have work done on it. This forum makes ownership possible.

Thank you everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving

Tim - Such an awful way to spend Thanksgiving. I'm saying a prayer for you, your father and your family. I lost my father almost four years ago and still think of him at least once every day. The only encouragement I can offer is to thank God for the father you have, thank God that he has been the kind of father that would make the current situation so terrible, and realize that so many others would not feel the same as you do now. I trust that God will bring about whatever is best for him.

For our community - we have so many things to for which we can give thanks to God: Ferdinand Porsche who made this even possible, the gifts of the engineers who developed this awesome vehicle and the grace by which we are blessed to live in this time and have the means to own this vehicle.

All of those are blessings are of much less importance than our family, friends and jobs, but a constant reminder of how fortunate we are. Give thanks to God for those even more so, each and every day.
