I just replaced by 986 tail lights with a set of the LED "smoke" taillights by Depo and it was only around $250 for the pair, but when looking for headlights, I can't find anything under $700... Am I just not looking in the right places?
Headlights are much more expensive. If you're handy it's possible to do a conversion on your existing headlights (depending on their conditions) but it's not the easiest job there is. There are multiple threads about it in the DIY section
