First service

Just had my first service for my 2001 Boxster, had the IMS replaced with an LN engineering retrofit kit and the clutch done at the same time as well as a few little items. I asked to have all the old parts back the clutch looked the WORST, it seems to have zero dampening but I believe the new clutch does have dampening does anyone feel like this makes a big difference?

54,000 mikes. Bearing seems fine peace of mind although $2250 is rough... I'll post pictures if you want I have all the parts.
