Help! Emergency! Bird poop on soft top!

What could be more tragic? I came outside today to find a giant blotch of bird poop on my previously pristine black soft top.

I need advice and I need it fast. Oh, the humanity!

high pressure rinse, don't delay. And only clean your softop with Raggtopp cleanser and a soft brush like the OXO feathertip. Follow up each cleaning of the Raggtopp cleanser with Raggtopp protectant.
Porsche also makes a protectant but I think its just Raggtopp relabeled and more expensive.
I avoid bird bombs by covering with a softop cover whenever the car is parked for more than a couple of hours. and don't park under trees if you can avoid it.

perfectlap I agree Raggtopp is the best and overspray on glass and paint is a non event. Do you have info on the "top cover" you use...the Box is my evryday transport and parked outside...I would be very interested in a cover for the top area...assume it would reduce the sun damage also.
thanks
Paul

I got a couple from here

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1997-06-PORSCHE-BOXSTER-CAR-COCKPIT-COVER-TAUPE-NEW_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ50456QQitemZ8061714 487QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

ask for the black one if has it, keeps cleaner longer. And don't use the door handle straps (just cut them off with scissors), it will scratch/swirl your paint. secure it from the windshield wipers and the rear trunk.

Best $50 I ever spent.

SoCal: "Oh the humanity!"

Friend, it's a bird, not a human.

Now you do have something to be thankful for... just be glad that cows don't have wings or you'd have a REAL mess on your hands!
