Can dead battery be charged from fuse box at 2 amps. ?

Have you been able to get the engine cover off or could you?? If you can get to the alternator, you could charge thru the large cable. Or the inspection cover behind the seats too.

Would the cigarette lighter make a better charge port than the fuse box ?
